Grooveschool

Studios

Dedicated creative studio spaces for DJing, music production and media, supporting mentoring, performance and creative development.

Studios

Grooveschool delivers its work from two dedicated creative studio spaces in South London.

These environments are designed to support DJing, music production, podcasting and mentoring, providing safe, inspiring spaces where young people can learn, create and grow.

Each studio has its own focus, while both support our wider creative mentoring programmes.

DJ Studio – The ArcHive (Brixton)

Our DJ studio at The ArcHive in Brixton is a specialist space for mixing, performance and live sessions.

Used for workshops, mentoring and artist development, the studio is equipped for both learning and professional-level DJ practice.

Creative Spaces with Purpose

Both studios are central to Grooveschool’s work and are used to deliver structured creative mentoring programmes throughout the year.

They are also occasionally available for external creative use, with all activity helping to support our work with young people.

– Microphone technique
– Recording and editing

Delivery includes:

– Trauma-informed practice
– Structured but adaptable progression

The focus is rebuilding confidence, communication and positive engagement through creative practice.

What You’ll Need To Do

For school-based delivery:

– Basic tables and seating

We can bring mobile DJ and production setups where needed and advise on equipment installation if required.
