We provide training in DJ skills and music production that may lead to qualifications (including Arts Awards, AQA and RSL accreditation)

Participants engage in hands-on learning using turntables and music technology, guided by experienced tutors.

Tutors are selected on the basis of experience and expertise and are required to hold an up to date enhanced DBS

At Grooveschool we not only equip pupils with the individual skills to DJ but also promote how to incorporate this into an electronic instrument ensemble.

Pupils learn how to use Vinyl Turntables, CDJ’s and DJ Controllers, Samplers, Synthesisers and Drum Machines. Composing and rehearsing a set for live performance.  

We provide classes for ages 8yrs and upwards and include SEN provision.

We supply peripatetic DJ tutors for music lessons including those studying for GCSE music.  

For family and wellbeing we run quality parent/child after-school bonding programmes.

One-2-One bookings are made on request, subject to availability.

For adults we run evening classes and weekend courses.

For corporate businesses we also provide great awayday options for Team Building.

Grooveschool also host Masterclasses with key industry figures covering a host of detailed subjects

The organisation aims to benefit people from low income families, NEET (“not in education, employment or training”), SEN/D (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), those with multiple disabilities, those in need as a result of unemployment, people in care and in hospices, also the elderly, especially Alzheimer sufferers.
