One of the main reasons Grooveschool exists is the fact that DJ and Music technology was not readily available in schools in 2010, when the charity was founded.

Thankfully some progress has been made and this technology is appearing in some schools, but it’s not enough. DJ and music technology equipment is still not as accessible as it needs to be in schools, and so our work is not done. Our goal is to ensure that no young person is unable to discover and nurture their interest in music due to a lack of access. 

Each Grooveschool student is provided with their own unique learning path, tailored to their specific needs to ensure they are able to get the most out of their passion for music.
