Grooveschool
FUNDED & PARTNERSHIP PROJECTS
Inclusive, hands-on sessions in schools, community settings, and our two South London studios. Ages 8–19 (up to 25 with SEND), plus community/adult groups.
Funded & Partnership Projects
Grooveschool collaborates with schools, local authorities, charities and industry partners to deliver funded creative mentoring projects that widen access and respond to community need.
These projects allow us to reach young people who may not otherwise be able to access structured creative provision.
How Partnership Projects Work
Funded projects are typically developed in partnership with:
– Schools and education providers
– Local authorities
– Community organisations
– Arts and culture funders
– Corporate and industry partners
Projects may focus on:
– Targeted intervention groups
– SEND-focused programmes
– Youth wellbeing initiatives
– Alternative provision pilots
– Community-based creative programmes
– Short-term funded mentoring blocks
Each project maintains the same structured, relationship-led approach that underpins all Grooveschool delivery.
Podcasting & Radio Programmes
Participants develop:
– Planning and scripting
– Interview technique
– Microphone technique
– Recording and editing
– Publishing and safe digital practice
Programmes support communication skills, storytelling, teamwork and media literacy.
Mentoring & Re-engagement
For young people at risk of exclusion or disengagement, we provide consistent, relationship-based creative mentoring.
Delivery includes:
– Flexible timetabling
– Quiet or sensory-aware setups
– Trauma-informed practice
– Structured but adaptable progression
The focus is rebuilding confidence, communication and positive engagement through creative practice.

Depending on scope and funding structure, projects may include:
– 1-to-1 creative mentoring placements
